We think the 1108 comes from using three 800 jugs off of a pair of zr 800 twins. thats what the idiot standing next to me is saying. anyway, got spark, getting fuel,??? Thats a fairly heavy sled for a lady. May want to consider downsizing to a ZL 500 or so and with reverse. electric start is also a nice feature. those yellow bombardiers (ski doo) with the rotax motor offers all the goodies. Dont get me wrong, my favorite sled is a zrt 800 but that is a lot of sled to handle when it comes to weight and speed. If your not too attached to the zrt you may want to trade it in at the repair shop for a more user friendly sled.

Might have to add a touch of gas in the spark plug holes to get it started the first time of the year.

Getting her started before trading would be a big plus in terms of value. Is it good gas thats in it? If not that would be the start. Like skligmund said try the gas in spark plug trick before you start it up, not to mutch thought you dont want a fire or enything like that.

Yeah possibly but make shure you break it in corectly or els you might have a disaster on you're hands. The new pistons and rings need to be broken in correctly so they dont explode. You should run mix gas of 50:1, corect me if I'm wrong, just to make shure eavrything is lubed right. Has it run since the new rings and pistons?

Not shure since its not trail, but for trail you got to run mix, let her warm up alot and go for a ride. When you ride arround try to varie the speed at witch you are going, no hard acceleration just be gentle. I'm not a pro so I may not be 100% corect on this, somebody with more experiance here should chime in.

Here is a starting trick. if you have a propane torch, open the valve and feed some propane into the air box while someone is pulling the starter cord. Propane will help start the toughest engines (high compression)and works likes magic. Propane also has lubricating properties and is better than ether (starting fluid). If you are worried about lubrication, add a teaspoon of two stoke oil directly into the spark plug openings. Dont feed too much propane after starts and if it fails to start after 5 pulls, turn off the propane valve and let the sled air out for 10 minutes. If you got spark, propane will often be the little boost needed to get the blood pumping on high compression engines.
All of you nea- sayers out there who think this is a bad idea. Try it sometime. works like magic. Use it only on 2 cycle engines. For RC cars this in the magic touch needed for cold weather starting.

Dont use propane to start your sled.
