I just 2 feet of wire, and new boots, and i have no idea how to attach them. Do i just push the wire into the points?

The caps will thread on to the wires. Push and twist until snug.
I'm not sure how the wires feed into the coil...

If the coil has replaceable wire they will thread on as well!
