first ride, ahh, it felt so good

yep, first ride this year. 95'zrt800 still in pieces waiting on parts. old trusty, my 79 jag was up for the ride. that sled still amazes me. 5 pulls and she was off and running ( sat since march). runs like a clock. never left me stranded. easy to work on. Love those old sleds.

cruised the neighborhood and fields. love this hobby. nothing else like it.

SEG, we got about 8 inches. should be getting more today, infact, i can see it coming down now. Sure is the funest time of the year. Kids got a snow day from school today so were loading up the trailer and heading out. gotta go about 45 miles northeast to find a snowmoblile friendly area. Most of the people in my town just find us a noisy pain, what with the dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, RC cars, and jetskis. They think were hillbillies. We just enjoy life and want have some good clean family fun. In the last 20 years most of my neighbors have either split up or gotten divorced, nobody can get along. I think they cant stand to see us happy and having fun, the whole family together. After plowing 5 of the neighbors driveways (utiltiy quad) I rode the sled around the neighborhood a few times. someone called the police on me. said i was tearing up the neighborhood with my 4 wheelers and snowmobiles. Cops didnt have a problem with it, everything is registared anyway. So I rode some more infact i escorted the cop out of my neighborhood just to piss off the party poopers. Cop said i was allowed to ride the secondary streets anyway.

Sounds awesome.....just wish that we had some snow in South Dakota. I have a buddy from Thief River Falls, MN. It is a long haul, but I might load up the sleds and go up there to do a little riding and ice-fishing.
