Question help

went ridiing a little today hit a frozen drift and got official air wen the world quit spinning found i had broke the throttle lever on my sled. 1997 skidoo summit 670 need one quick anybody got one laying around this one has a heater on it dont want or need it. Please help!! Big trip planned next weekend gonna take my dad on his first sled ride.gotta figure something out

does anyone know if one from a 95 zrt arctic cat will fit this dudes sled. if so, I'll ship it free of charge. my holiday gift from one rider to another.

this lever has 2 grooves in it so it pivots around them as opposed to one single pin not sure if this is what you have i figure skidoo probably did it this way so if some dumba-- is going just a little too fast it costs a bunch more and you feel way more stupid. thanks for the help if it is the right one just let me know how much.

if it will work its yours, no charge including shipping. could a skidoo man please tell us if an arctic cat throttle lever will fit a skidoo. mine has a single pin at the pivot point.

I don't think it will. If i remember right the doo has a progressive throttle so to speak. Between half throttle and full throttle the ratio increases. Anyone else have some input on this?

Yup they have 2 screws, and it pivots on them. It does seem to have basically 2 throttle stages also like jager was saying.

They are also different for different size carbs and are marked on it somewhere.For example the throttle off of 38mm carbs won,t work on 40 mm carbs.I found this out when I changed an old s-chassis from a fan to a liquid.The original throttle wouldn't open the carbs on the new motor all the way.
