sounds normal to me my zr580 needs to warm up about 10-15min before shes ready to giver lets it sit idle for about 5-10 min then hop on it and ride at about 5000rpm for another 5min should be fine after that gotta rember after sitting out side in -15 plus wind the motor is very cold ride it hard before its warm and u risk damageing the motor!!

dude...thats how it is lol...you apparently aren't letting it warm up enough which will cause this little problem of yours along with engine damage. Not a good idea

Larry, I know what you mean about it cutting out until its warm I've had this sled, 99 MXZ 670 ho, since it was a year old and its never done this until last year, It's like someone is hitting the kill switch when your trying to take off. I've let it warm up as long or longer than the other guys that I ride with and my sled is the only one that will cut out and fart around until it's fully warmed up then it runs good. We were going through my book today and it says if you unplug the temp sensor it will go into enrichment mode, I'm going to try this and if it does I'll get a new temp sensor. I'll report back!

Thanks
Deano
