liquid or fan?

Liquid check for a pinched line or a leanking head gaskey

Fan make sure the belt is not overwarn and slipping also ck the head gasket.

Sounds to me more like a bad crank or head seal than anything else.

Good luck they arent to hard to work on!

I'm actually restoring that same sled. If you still have problems, take the cowling apart that blows air over the cylinder heads. You could have a family of mice in there that you have cooked alive, and now their corpses are blocking your air flow (haha.. seriously though check it.)

I'm having all sorts of issues with this thing.

I've had to replace all bearings, fiberglass, sand and paint the hood (ya i just used tremclad but oh well), oil lines, oil bottle grommet, suspension boots, shocks, and by far the worst part ever:

The boot that covers the upper/lower ball joint assembly. I had to pry out the circlip that holds in the upper ball joint. It was pure hell.Oh ya, and the ski boots.

It's a 377, it won't have a lot of power! :-)

Check compression on the cylinders. Overheating may have caused one side to mess up the cylinder.
