What should I get?

I have been looking for a set of pipes for my 600. I have my sled set up for low end, but i want to gear it up a little so I could have a little more top end. I also plan on getting studs and maybe a clutch kit. What I am looking to do is drag racing on the lakes and river, and race on cross country track this spring. Do you think I should go with a single pipe or a set of twins, and what kind? I found a good deal on some Hot To GO twins and i also am looking at a AAEN single but i just wanted some opinions from you guys.

In general twin pipes are better for top end. But what sled? If it's an older Yamaha then AAen. a cat then Black Magic or D&D etc! For more top end (higher rpm) the porting will help alot as will larger carbs! Air box and reeds too!

I would agree generally twins are better for top end.

Would use a AAen for under 3,00 feet and a SLP pipe for best all around.

Go with the twin as long as you can tune it correctly
