I dont know about those but I got the uni filter snow pod from the same place and they have been real good for me. Alot of people say not to use air filters because they make the jetting a little finaky and other stuff but i don't mind rejeting every once in a while. If I were you I would go with the uni filters over those air intakes.

I'd find another airbox if I were you. Less carb icing, jetting, etc.

Its not that much louder. Try the UNI air filters. I run them and they work really good.

If you go with individual filters find some with snow pre-filters or else your gonna be sitting outside your house warming the carbs with a hairdryer every day you ride 5 miles.

They do make it considerably louder, especialy if you have a can. I also put a small towel over my filters at night so they don't ice over. It helps most of the time. But one thing about if the carbs do get some ice in them is it takes like 10 seconds to pull them off and wipe the ice off.

First the air box is not a filter, it just redirects the air intake. The all around best thing is an aftermarket air box with a foam pre filter. I use the scavanger air box and on my big go fast I've made a cold air intake to it!

I'm with you. Why would you introduce more things to watch/change every time you ride? I'd rather just jump on my sled and ride instead of working on it.

They are usually tuned for optimum performance & noise reduction.
