need a new sled

hey, im on my cousins account at the moment, but i need a new sled and im not quite sure what one to get. i now use my dads grand touring 380 and i got the **** ripped out of it . the shocks are gone and its time to get a new skidoo .i really like the mxz550x . my cousin has one and i love the look to it. and to tell the truth im not too fond on the new rev xp platform . i like the older revs better . i ride with friends flying jumps, boondocking, and a bit of hill climbing . what would be a good sled for me? by the way i dont want to spend no more then 10 000 canadian on a new skidoo .. thanks .

I would think you will find the 550F to be a bit under powered if you are boondocking and hill climbing. I would suggest looking into the 500SS or the 600 SDI. Both are plenty powerful and maybe even look at the renegade to help with flotation. but if you are jumping the shorty track might be better. You can probably pick up last years model's still brand new for under $10000 canadian. The Fan may be enough for you but remember that bit of extra weight you gain with the liquid will translate into a 50 - 60 hp gain.

well really all we do is fly jumpss . we do some hill climbing some times but i usually watch the older crowd do it mostly. i just like to have some fun zipping around. my friends have a polaris 340, indy 500 , citation 3500 , 4500 , mach z 380 and the older crowd have a m7 , 700 triple, and crossfire 1000 . but i think a 550x would be good for jumps , and just zipping around .. ? dont they have better shocks then in the regular mxz 550f?

yea the X package has better shocks. But littledawg has a point as well. If you are willing to switch brands the 600 RR is about as close to a snow X machine as you are going to find. It would FLY!!! But you had better be pretty experienced to handle one of those!
