If you do, tape up your vents so no water can get in on the clutches.. Take off the seat too, so it doesnt get water logged!! You should be fine, a lot of people who run water-x use a smaller lug track rather then a deeper lug..

I had an Arctic Cat out on the lake once, but it had the word TigerShark on the side of it. It went great I didn't have to tape anything up or even take the seat off. Call me old fashioned but I prefer to use my sled on the trail and park it in the garage at the end of the day- as opposed to swimming in to shore then looking out at the water scratching my head!!!

Amen to that man. Too much $$$ to risk hydrolocking it, etc.....

just try pulling a wheelie right before you hit the water? so that you go in at a somewhat leveled angle? oh, make sure that water crossing is legal in your state before you go! (so you won't get arrested if you sink)

The water cross that I have seen they have a tether and a bouey too, they also have a chase boat to pick you up, not if you sink but when!
Ever given any thought to asphalt racing that ZRT? You could do 10's in the 1/4!

yeah i have. i roughly need a grand into it and the nhra competition license. i also need to modify the can so it exits the side and not down. if i remove the seat will that expose the heat exchange so i can put ice in there. what do the racers do? do they run cold with no warm up?
