mice....

I store my sleds outside (have no other choice) anyone got some tips on keeping mice away?

Critters don't like mothballs/flakes at all. Keep the exhaust plugged with steel wool and use a whole box of ball/flakes in the engine compartment. Spread them around the seat and running boards too. Take a piece of cloth (folded in half and with flakes in the middle) and cover the airbox intakes with it. If the engine is a fan cooled, pour some into the engine shroud as well. This has worked for me for years.

A baseball bat and a shot gun work pretty well. Only problem is you have to be sitting in the corner with a flashlight for 8 months.

I agree with the others.

steel wool in the ends of your pipe(s)keeps the small critters from nesting in your pipe(s). just remember to remove the steel wool come next fall. we have a cat that kills any mouse within our house/garage area. he keeps the mice down.
