ive got a 1997 mxz 670 that im trying to setup for watercoss. i already took of the seat lights, gas tank, also drop the chaincase top gear from a 26toth to a 22 toth, got 2 k&n air filters, also but a 1.5 inch track, with full dyno port exhaust of a 2001 mxz. i was wondering if there is any thing i can do with suspension setup to make it better and do u guys have other things i can do to make this performer better let me know with what u think

if i was running across water id be more concerned about making it across than if the suspension is giving me a comfy ride...lol

no im not worried about be comftorable what i mean is better suspension for better accelleration and if there is a way to mess around with it to make it turn on water and such

Not sure about the suspension but some simmons flex skis would really help.

skis are not important, they stay out of the water. if you try nad turn with the skis you will bite and crash.

I beleve that the biggest problem is the belt getting wet? If you can close up the openings in the hood it might help?

not an issue for the drags, ovals it can be, silicone up the bottom of the belly pan so splashing water cant come in there, but the belt runs really hot, need to get cooling to it. the rear suspension needs some minor mods to gain speed and attitude for watercross racing.
