Question Newer Sled.........................?

I am looking to buy a newer sled and i was wondering between the $1000-$1500 range waht kind of sled could i get or should i get. I'm assuming i am going to be getting a 90's model. What a good sled for trail riding and some speed? Thanks

I have some Wild Cats? 88 650 mod $900, 91 700 2up rev $1100
and a 93 Mountain Cat EFI 700 $1200. If you look hard enough
you might find a 98 ZR or ZL 500 -600 for 1500-2000?

I would suggest maybe an XLT 600 triple or an Skidoo with the 583 twin(MXZ or Formula). Both sleds seem to be pretty trouble free from what I have seen and they should satisfy your power craving. I would think you shouldn't have much trouble finding one of these sleds in your price range. Also the 580 twin (ZR or EXT) from Arctic Cat is a good motor as well.

I have two 1996 Polaris Indy XLT. One is a special with the xtra 12 suspension and fox shocks. Both have the following at the start of this season. New tracks, new pistons, new rings, cranks reworked, rods, all new bearings, new brake pads. Both sleds are in EXCELLENT condition. The seat has a minor split in the seams on the special. Both are ready for a LONG winter ride. asking 1100 for the xlt, and 1300 for the special. Both are VERY capable sleds and run VERY well. They look even better... email me directly at
turbodiesel_525@hotmail dot com
its spelled out so the bots dont get it. Its a normal email addy. Thanks
