Registration

All,

I just recently bought my first sled (haven't picked it up yet), and I'm not sure what all needs to be done to register it, etc, here in Colorado. Do I need to get a bill of sale and/or title or something like that from the guy I bought it from? Who do I have to register it with?

Thanks for any/all info you can help me out with,
Matt

Here in Ill. we have a registration card and get a sticker from the state! You would want a bill of sale at least and perhaps a signed reg card! Talk to the DMV and see what you need for sure!

Exactly! The same goes for PA.

I found this site earlier about registration:

Snowmobile Registration Services - Colorado State Parks

But I'm still not sure about title, etc. I know that snowmobiles don't have "titles", so i'm guessing I just have to fill out a Bill Of Sale form so that I have proof that I actually own the motorcycle.

Call your local DMV office and ask them what they require.
