Cleaning Reeds?

I was told this weekend that it's a good idea to clean your reeds once the sled gets higher in mileage. I pretty sure I know where they are...any tips on cleaning. Does and don'ts?

Never cleaned reeds before. Just replace them if cracked or broken.

Nothing to clean But they do lose there flexibility to close tightly over time! An old trick would be to turn the reeds around.

Of course, your sled might not even have them.

Yes. Remove the carbs and the reed cages are the rectangle things the carbs mount to.
