I was really bummed when my F3 700 overheated.. The sled was new to me but had less than 800mi. on it.. it's a 98'.. First time I rode it in low snow conditions it overheated... I replaced the thermostat and it seemed to run cooler. Once out on real trails in low snow, it seems almost everyone with liquid cooled sleds are having trouble keeping the idiot light to stay off or the needle out of the red.Even on very cold days...Long live the fan...I would think a better solution to the cooling problem would have to appear. I like liquid cooling, it's quiet and the engine can have tighter tolerances but they need to address the low snow overheating issues.

On my F7. The ENGINE light comes on first as a warning that your engine temperature has slightly changed before the temp light comes on ,which is more of a drastic change in temp.

Why can't you have a mix between a fan and a liquid. A fined head with a shroud and liquid cooling heat exchangers as well?
