Registered the sleds today

Last year I got hosed, I registered the sleds and it never snowed again. This year I waited as long as I could stand it. Going out tomorrow for a half day ride. Do others have to register at a certain time, or can you wait until the snow is good?

the new sled was already registered for 2 years. Before that I never registered a sled, and I never rode in state maintained areas. But I'll probably keep this one registered just so it wont get put on the bottom of the list if it gets stolen.

Renewals are sent out in August, you can renew or register a new one at any time. many have waited until we got decent snow to ride on.
I was out today and rode about 70 miles. The trails are quite rough but the snow was good.

I wish we could do a 2 year reg. Makes sense! ZR600, we got about 6" here. I'm about 2 miles from Milton lake, going there tomorrow for a while also.

Three years for Michigan also, but we have to get a yearly trail permit.

We got about 8 - 10 inches here with heavy winds and the real low temps. Only the expressways were getting plowed so it was slow going around here, unless your sled was ready to go

I don't think I'm going to bother registering this year. In NH it's too expensive $48 per sled for a club member $78 if your not a club member. and yes that's the fee EVERY YEAR! I am a club member but with less than a month of riding (if we get more snow) it seems like a waste of money this year...
