we were on a two day tour of the state. On the homeward bound leg we decided to lunch at a picknick table near the trail. All the sleds were well off the trail the closest perhaps 10' from it. We had just unpacked our stuff when 4 sleds came up the trail and they were flying. 3 of them made the corner a little wide but made it. The 4th the new f7 all blacked out did not and went right through us. Over Dave's skis cliped Jeffs rear bumper then right in to my sled. he took mine in the left ski somewhere and flipped my sled. Glad I had not replaced the windshield yet. Then he stopped with his skis under Sues belly pan having pushed her sled back about 5 feet. Everybody was obviously pissed. But no harm came to him however there were some very heated words. We got out our info and exchanged it. About an hour went by after that. Then a local trail warden came threw and asked us if we had seen a xc 600 or a F7. I said "Ya a F7 just did this" pointing at my sled. he replied they were stolen. So I gave the the info to him.
Just kidding
We did go on the tour. Steve rolled his new Indy 500 and Justin seized his Xc 600. as far as me I hit a big rock with the right ski and then bounced to the left side of the trailand proceded to make like superman while hitting the kill switch watching the sled drive it's front left ski into the boulders on the other side of the trail, bounce out of that and sit neatly in the center of the trail. Damage consist of . Trailing arm, both left sway bar bushing(missing) upper radious rod and bent carbide skag for the SLP SLT skis. I did tie up the sway bar and had a challenging ride the rest of the way home. Now I am off to look for used parts for my 98 xlt classic.
