Aftermarket Air filters

Does anyone know how much aftermarket air filters affect performance over just an airbox? What adjustments have to be made? I'm guessing just the jets and air screws. What about clutch weights?

Well they add more air flow so yes, you should have to re-jet richer. To maximize your performance gains you could have your clutched dialed in to meet the changes of power output.

If you're going to run a lot of powder, keep the airbox. THe aftermarkets freeze up in powder.

I've linked some dyno results that show stock air box gives best performance. Unless you have some compelling reason to switch, stay stock.
