The original factory seals have teflon coated lips and offer much less friction than a plain rubber seal. There are some aftermarket seals that have the teflon coating, I've used some Cometic seals that were teflon and just recently opened a Winderosa kit that had teflon seals ( for a 700 Mach 1 triple). I wouldn't worry too much about aftermarket seals in a Prowler, it's not a space shuttle. Just remember to put some light grease on the lips before installing them to aid break-in.

I've always used the Winderosa's also. Work well for me.

I 've used the cometics. Remember Cat didn't make them and likely Suzuki didn't either!
