Oil coming out of exhaust manifold

I just bought a 94 VMax 600. We noticed some oil residue in the belly pan, some oil residue on the block, and a small bit of oil coming out of the exhaust manifold. We had to crank on the sled about 20 times to get it fired up because it didn't appear to be getting gas. Could a lot of cranking cause extra oil to be pumping through the motor? Is this normal? Will it hurt anything?

Thanks

no it wont hurt anything. but i have always taken the pipes off, cleaned everything real good and applied some high temp ultra copper RTV to the joint. make sure to let it set up overnight or longer before you start the motor. helps keep things a bit cleaner.
