Suspension Brackets?

I've seen these for sale before. Suspension relocation brackets, they drop the rear of the sled's suspension out of the tunnel more. I'm sure that you could just make some thick brackets and be good too. What are the pros and cons in doing this; gaining more clearance from track to tunnel??

The reason I did it on my SRV is due to the rear mounting holes in the tunnel were oblonged. I guess the previous owner did not own a wrench to tighten them up. I made my own bracket type setup.

You will gain some track clearance and a little sled height and also will transfer some weight on to the skis, which will affect stearing.
