03 pro x 800

Well here's what i got 03 pro x 800 twin slp pipes,v force 3 reeds,air box kit, cluch kit,136 2" track. whent out west last year hade problems went through a belt a day. I did not regear but i did that this fall going to jackson hole on the 4th of jan very nervous. any ideas? rode the sled a little in the yard felt better but not really sur what to do.THANKS for your advice.

To be going through that many belts I would have to guess that the clutches are not in alinement. I would check that before I took any serious rides.

I'd also say you have a clutch alignment problem. Did you use good replacement belts?

I agree clutch alignment. The clutch alignment tools are cheap out of High Performance Engineering. Hi-Performance Engineering
