i know the quickest way too find this is ask you guys a friend has a very old yamaha he thinks its an "excitor" needs to know the year I cant find anything to helphim
the # is BJ7-039038the only sticker left on it is 440 for the engine appreciate any help

well im not 2 sure, but if you get the serial number off the motor itself i can tell you the exact manufacturers date
