I know they sell a 3 day pass, one day pass, etc. Not sure about insurance, though. Where's The Snow

This should give you some info.

Are you coming to Ontario, or just staying in Quebec? The laws are different from province to province.

Cool thats funny

lol no its not that much. this is the list you need 2 ride
a valid driver's license
proof of snowmobile ownership
registration
insurance
helmets
plus its a 3 day pass for 90 bucks & a 7 day pass for 120 bucks. and keep your paper work on you at all times plus having your registration numbers on your side of the sleds help too. hope it helps.

Cool no prolbem bud

Well< the coverage will be up to what kind of sled & year you ride! (like any sled thats 600 & lower than a 800 sled will be cheaper. & if your sled is worth lets see 2000 bucks well you get insurance for that price. you get a year to year insurance plan. heck my sled is insured right now sitting its warm garage. its like a car because up in canada you drive the roads alot in the winter.lol how do you think thay go for coffee,EH. I have my sled insured all year long & when winter comes it hopes on it trailer & we are off, Its not much like 20 bucks a month , ask you insurance company, its like a motorcycle . hope it helps, if there is any thing else just yell.

Need a snow dance from hell to ride this year

To snowmobile in Ontario you must be covered for at least $500 000. Again, I'm not sure about the other provinces but I wouldn't imagine it would be too far off that amount.

Make sure the policy covers recovery costs in case, God forebid, you drop it in a river or lake. MNR frowns on leaving them there.

Last time I saw the form for a season pass it didn't mention anything about insurance policy number. If anything then they only want proof of if your asked in person.
