Why? Do the round slides work OK? You won't see any performance difference in them.

I went to flat slides only for the light pull. I guess there is a slight performance gain (remember the UFO's)
But unless you found a set at a swap meet it really wouldn't be worth the cost (maybe not even then).V force might be money better spent!

in a word- no

I have flat slides on my zrt 800 and rounds on my tcat 900.
Acutally prefer the rounds. Can't say exactly why, but
the tcat was much easier to dial in. Still working on the
zrt800 flatslides to get some of the snap the tcat has.

Sounds like a jetting isue on ZRT, do you have etg? I bored my 38's to 41 and had to change the (not changeable) needle jet.

yes!! The reeds will help alot with the rest of your mods, perhaps spacers and a 2 deg timing key too!

I put Carbon Tech reeds in my Firecat. Reeds only ,no blocks. They made a big difference in Throttle response.

I would only change the carbs if you need too or to go bigger. The boyseen rad has more responce but doesn't flow as much as the v force. the carbon replacement might be crisper than stock, but again wont flow like the force.

No not really better, they do have a lighter pull, and don't make much turbulance in the intake, but I doubt you could fell it.Perhaps speak with D&D see what they say about reeds and ask about carb size?
