Unhappy Don't laugh....lol

LOL...yah my question is...."How do u find out what year ur ski-doo is"....I purchased a Polaris 550 SuperSport off my ol'Boss's friend but don't have a clue what year it may be......i surf and surf but no result's...I can't find it...i keep ending up with some 550 SuperSport Edge...if u could help me out...thx

do you have a registration stub? it will be on that.
It is also incorporated into the VIN.

Yep the VIN number will tell you ,but if you can't read it send a pick of the sled to the forum, some of us old sledder can tell you the year, bye the shape & style.

Look where the vin # is and there is a manifacture date. this date is always the yaer before the model.

Example: 2/12/01 would be a 2002 sled made on january 12th 2001.

Yeah!!! Another 550 SS! I would guess that if you can't locate or read the VIN on the sled, a picture posted up here will probably get you your answer. These guys know an incredible amount about sleds!!

right on...it's a 2001...thx alot people

So i guess i drive a "2001 Polaris 550 SuperSport f/c"..not bad of a machine...can't really go off trail..but it's alright for my 1st machine actually owned...
