question about studs in the states...

My brother inlaw has heard that some states say it is illegal to have a studded track. Is this true and if so which states are these.
Thanks

Only on certain trails, not in any state.

Cool

GOOD ????? now is there a listing? of these trails? because if you are from another state or canada & 1 guy has stud & the other not, it would make it tough to ride & get somewhere?

The trails that studs are not allowed on are usually posted at the trails. The reason is they are multi seasonal trails and are paved. Studs will destroy them.
