Fuel Economy

Hey just wondering what everyone else's sleds are like on gas. Thought it would be a lively discussion!

well I guess I should start my RMK is not great but if you can buy the sled you can buy the gas. haha. it gets about 10 mpg honestly but it's turning a 144" track with 2" paddles thats alot of drag and it's geared low so it revs 8000 rpm's all day.

I know lots of guys who ride every color in short tracks and thats all they get or less in the fields.

Heard the 600 H.O. short track are up around 14-15 mpg.

I think mine gets around 12 mpg.....it all depends how trigger happy I get. I'm sure it could be better if I was easier on the throttle. I guess it's just the price we pay to have fun!!

The worst part is me pickin' up the gas tab for my son!! Can run up to $50 per stop for both of us! Don't really mind, tho, since we both enjoy it immensely!!
Actually, it's a whole lot cheaper than the monthly ice bills I had when my daughter played AAA hockey!!
But, again, just the cost of havin' fun!

I've honestly never calculated it, but with a 440, it's better than everyone else that I ride with.

Wow! I find that hard to believe. You must treat it nice on groomed trails to get that. I know a couple guys who had wildcat's in the early 90's and they got single digits.

I guess your lucky
