Long track or short track

I need help a friend and myself are having a debate hopin you folks can help
i have a 2007 Renagade 800 powertek turnin a 16X136X1.25 track with 162 woodys
his is a 2006 mxz adrenilin (sp) 600HO turn a 121 inch track with 96 woodys
OK this is where the fightin starts.
because i am turnin the big track will i lose that much Horsepower and will he beat me accross the lake
heres to hopin you guys can help

It would be close, I know my brother takes me top end with his MXZ 800, I am turnin a 151" track though. Depending on how long ya go, he may be real close.

You definitely have a whole lot more rotating mass with the deep lug, extra lenght & the extra picks. The extra HP from the 800 may make up the deficit, tho!! Remember to race him on ice, cause you'll hook up a bunch better!!

They do plow to the ice for our radar runs on mary lake so i will hehe
