Snow predictions...
Ok just maybe to kill some time we could see what we think the snowfall in an area is going to be this year, and share any predictions that we have heard from other sorces
I personally think in the midwest here, its going to be cold and heavier snow then last year, even though the farmers almanac is saying .5" less percipitation this year and its not going to start unill early to mid Dec.

Well, becasue of the El Nino they are saying that those of us up here in northern Minnesota can look forward to warmer average temps and less precip. than average. But who needs "them". I have a good outlook. last year was a little better than the year beofre, and I think we will stay on that trend.

We have the same prediction here, warmer than normal and less snow than normal.
Hope it's not the same as last year.

My wife is Norwegian. I am a lucky guy. Last week she was looking mighty fine for Halloween with the tin helmet with horns and a brown sheep skin blazer. Tried to get her to boat me and the sled to BC where it dumped 12 feet.
Pay attention to the low pressure systems off of california where I live.
The low pressure systems pull moisture from Hawaii (Pinapple express) and send it to the jet stream. It also pulls the jet stream down so the southern states get cold.
I predict the California Mammoth Lake area to get less snow than last year. Only 450 inches instead of the 584 inches last year.
