New pix and additions to my sled.
Well i finally got around to taking a few pix of my sled and its improvements. I scored a GPS mount for my GPS device off amazon.com for 12 bux, Everyone else wanted liek 30!, So i snagged that up and promptly installed it. Also a few weeks back a scored a set of OEM polaris plastic skis for my sled off a fellow member for 60 bux. I had to ditch the steelies. And last I got my new windsheiled at the snow show for 60bux new!. I also got a pair of black shock covers. But i havnt put them on yet. Im almost done with my fall mods. Have a few more to do. IE. Clutch kit, New rear suspension springs and and hyfax's. Any way here is the links to my pix.

Where did you get the GPS mount from? I have that same GPS unit I'd like to mount. Did you have to drill?

I was looking at a handlebar mount for mine (mtn bike mount) so I wouldn't have to drill holes. I guess with a Polaris you don't mind....

I was thinkin bout the handle bar mount too. but i thought a sled would be too aggesive for the handle bar mount. So i opted for what i got its very stable. But if i had a newer and nicer sled i prolly would have thought twice about drilling.

SEG,RAM makes a great, sturdy handlebar mount.I've got proof when I roled the sled down a ravine.Their site doesn't list snowmobiles so I called 'em and they set me up.I'll take some pics if ya want.

Nice sled. Do you ride with Slednecks?
I have an unopened Magellan Meridian Series Bike Mounting bracket.
I don't need it.

The mount works great.Just had to cut a hole in the handle bar cover where it sticks out.The Etex's screen is too small to do much good while on the move.It kept me from gettin' lost while up the French River though. That and because I don't have a battery in the sled,I've got to switch over to the GPS's battery within a minute after I shut off the sled or it stops recording the current trail.
