Talking How am i doin?

Hey i am 14 got my first sled when i was 11 it was a 16 elan i still regret sellin it. My next sled was a 1988 safari 377 with 87 mach 1 running gear and man could it fly, the most i ever got out of her was 138 km/h on the speedo and that is with the track and berrings needing to be replaced. I was drivin it for 2 years and bought a 1997 XCF 440 for a steal of a price $750 canadian dollars and all it needed was skis, I got it in august and have been itchin for the snow to flyever scence, so i can try it. The snow wont be long now up here in newfoundland we get our first snow in mid to late november. I plan to sell the polaris next year cus i never realy liked it and wouldn't of got it if not for the price. NOTE: I payed for all of these sleds my self.

How am i doin for sleds at 14, i am pretty experinced considdering my cousin has a rx1 with turbo and a can and clutch kit etc....

thats awsome man! im 16 i've had about the same amount of sleds... the first one was my grandpas old 73 elan 250 that he gave to me, i rode that for a year, except it didnt really go anywhere so i only rode it like twice, then the following year i sold that (with my grandpas permission, it was actually his idea) and bought a 1980 arcticat panther 440. blew that up near the end of the first year i had it, ebuilt her for the start of las year, sold it, and bought an 89 indy 500, this year i might be gettin something else but i kinda doubt it. that was a great deal you found on that 440 though! hope you enjoy that!

Good to see guys starting out young.

I started when I was 12 on an 88 citation, ran that until I bought my mxz. I remember when the limiter strap broke and I didn't have any money, so I used a chain and a pad lock I found in the garage. Sold her for fifty bucks.

I started at 15 with a 1993 arctic cat ext 580. It had a 136" track and almost no suspension. It turned like a pig, it was heavy as hell and slow. I got rid of that last year and got a 1997 ski-doo 583 and it's 110% better. It's lighter, I can throw the thing around. Faster, turns easier and looks better. I still have the ski-doo and I'm currently 17. I'm hoping to get a REV this summer.

Hey, sounds great man. I'm 15, I remember my first sled, my dad bought an old Polaris Colt 250 for a 100 dollars and we fixed it up a bit, and I drove that when I was 8 or 9 for a year or two. Then my dad bought me a 2004 Z 440, and last year he bought an F8 for himself and decided to also buy an F6 for me to drive because He got a good deal on it. Next year, I'd like to upgrade, I'm hoping my dad will let me sell/trade it in on a 2008 ski-doo 800.

Hello,

I am writing from Newfoundland too. I started out on a 1992 Bravo 250 Long Track when I was 10. I then moved onto a 1994 Arctic Cat Jag 340 and then a 1998 Touring E 380. This summer I got a job and bought a 2002 RMK 700 144". I am itiching for the snow to come and cannot wait for our first snow day. Shouldnt be too long now O yea I a now 16 going on 17 in a few months. Good to see a few teenagers around.
