i agree with both above posts.

are zrt8 is very fast, nothin runs sweeter when its well tuned and in the proper conditions, but if its having a bad day and isnt gunna run right because of the weather then riding a crappy runnin tripple all day wilkl make you sell it, ares goes to auction next weekend.

it is jetted to rich and wont run worth a crap above -6 degrees and is just to heavy, are hole famly prefferes light quick old 400lbs 440's

gotta 00 zrt800

Fixing it up for my new wife who is new to snowmobiling. Debating wether or not to buy her a 370 zr to give her a better first impression of snowmobiling.
The zrt 800 is very fast. It is jetted very fat from the factory. Can be made
to run better in more realistic post global warming temps by raising the e-clips
on the needles (thus dropping the needles down a notch) and jetting with
350 mains on the 00 flatslide carbs. May try jetting down another step and
dropping the needles another notch this winter, but need to watch plugs and
piston wash closely when doing this. Overall I like the sled. Kind of a beast at
times, though.

They did lighten them up in 99' though. My 96 ZRT almost feels as heavy as my 99 Pantera . But you gotta love the triple piped power. Good lake and road sled .... not so much of a ditch humper.

If it don't require premium fuel you got the wrong model.
