Question 1995 Rxl 650?

Are they any good?
I`ve read that they had lots of problems with the efi is that true?
Here is the ad 91 & 95 Polaris RXL St. Boniface, Winnipeg what would you offer for it? Are should i keep away from the RXL`s?

I have that same 95' Those 650s are great motors and they dont seem to stop accelerating. I bought mine with a toast crank. So i bought a wrecked indy 650 withs carbs and just slaped that motor in. Same sled pretty much just one is EFI and the other is carbed. Its a real fun sled, lil heavy But it does have the Xtra 12 suspension so it is a great trail sled. If you can get it for a good price get it. Cant beat the 650 for reliability.

if you can, crash the 91 up real good so it as no front end on her... ill give ya some money for it... i need an engine for my 91 rxl 650 lol but i wanna find a wrecked sled with a good motor... i've heard the 650's are actually light compared to the newer sleds, hey ssnthe 10's, do you know if my 91 would have the xtra 12 suspension? i might consider swaping that out and sticking it under my 500 if i dont find and engine for it.

thanks, i dont feel like spending any money on my sled right now, ive got a truck to finish, but i found someone who wants to buy the chasis/body of my 650 off me for like 300 bucks... and i got it for free about a month ago... so i might do that cause i talked to the guy i got it from (my neighbour) and he just told me to sell it he doesnt care what happens to it. unless i find an engine sometime soon though.

it is NOT a bolt in mod the extra 10 and 12 require the mounting brackets to be installed. not impossible but not a 10min job either.

My dads 96' 600 triple seized the crank bearings twice. The last time it completly took out the bottom end. Don't know if the 650's had the same problems. One nice thing is that people seem to love em and the resale is usually good

pretty sure the indy 650s were pretty bulet proof motors. And they still have a ton of power for their age.
