Nice sled man. You'll be happy with it! I agree with the other guys in thinking you should leave the decals on. It would look pretty plain/boring/ugly without those stickers!

I hope it is good enough.... snowmobile theft is a major problem up here. I had several attempted thefts of my Indy last year. Even with that chain on it, I've gotten up in the morning to see the sled spun right around facing the fence that it is chained to.

wow, really? that sucks.
i just thought you chained it up cuz it was new or cuz it was in plain view. now that you say youve had theft attempts, i see why you chained it up.
it should be good enought. except for the ski loops (cuz those can be removed easily, or easier).
if you have that much chain, instead of thru the skis, id weave it btwn the shock and the trailing arm, under the sled, thru the other side, then infront of the shock, thru the bumper and connect both sides around the fence post. just my .02 tho

^ I agree with that, run the chain through the track suspension. That's also why they make those track lock bars and also throttle locks.

nice sled, i gotta lock mine up to, we've had a boat stolen from our house once... ever since we'ved locked everything up... i put the chain around the trailing arm, then through the slots on the skis (not the ski loops) then through the ski loop and around a tree... so as long as the dont emove my whole ski/ cut the tree down... ill be alright.

Did anyone mention you should keep the decals???
I agree with the others. Think like a thief! How hard would it be to cut through plastic ski loops? Thread it through some solid frame members. I'd use cable - it's harder to cut. And don't feel silly about locking it up. Mine sit in my *garage* cabled together. Anything that will slow a thief, will usually be enough to make them look elsewhere.
BTW - Nice ride!!! ...and I like the decals. You should keep them!
