Exclamation Slide Rails for 50 Bucks?

I was talking to my friend and he said he just had his friend change his slides out and he had to pay 50 bucks for the slides. Plus he had to pay labor. He also said his friend said they were top dollar slides. So, was this guy lying or just trying to make a quik buck?

They have a brand called Hyperfax and they are a super slide. About right for the price. I put them on my Mach 1.

Get this, my friend wants me to pay some because i rode it for like to secs!
I think he's a total idiot for saying i totally wore them down for driving it about 30ft at like 5mph.

The guy he got it from said he just replaced the slides. Even though they were wore and large wear spots before! Guess he just wants to beleive it.

Not too bad............get the back of the sled in the air, loosen up the track as much as you can. Remove the bolt/nut that holds the slide to the rail. Spray a ton of WD40 along the length of the rail, inside & outside. I used a big screwdriver & hammer to drive the slide rearward. Line up the track window so the slide can go through it. When you get it partly through the track, you can grab it with a vise-grip & yank it all the way out.
New slide may need to be cut to length. Make sure it has the recessed hole for the bolt. Reverse procedure to install.
Might take about an hour for both...45 min for the first one 15 for the second.
