Riding on grass?

Can you safely ride a snowmobile on a grassy field? Will parts wear really quickly and is there anything I should look out for?

Thanks!

You can do it, but you ned to lubricate your slides properly with grease. This will involve drillin holes in the slides, and filling them with some lubricant

Do it when the grass is wet and all you have to worry about is the wear of the skis.

Ya..watch the temp. Changing hyfax and removing melted hyfax from a track is much less of a pain then rebuilding because of a melted piston.

I have road mine in the grass. After about 2 passes the hyfax will get hot and you will notice it. It will be like your putting on the breaks.
