Yamaha V Max, Polaris Indy 500, Skidoo MXZ, come to mind. Gee, I wonder why.

the only problem is it uses antifreeze. the guy said he had it gone through and he couldn't find out were it was going. He wants 1200 for it .What do you think of the sled. And how much do you think i should pay

Most likely it has a head leak. If you can get it for $1000. go for it and fix the problem.

Could be a leak in the exchanger, also!

Possible, but most likely the leak is in the engine, either the head or the base gasket.

I would pass on buying a sled with problems especially if you're not familiar with snowmobiles. It could be as easy as switching a hose or gasket or maybe the head isn't sitting flush and will need to be machined. We don't know the problem, and if you buy it not knowing the exact problem and how to fix it than you better be willing to pony up the cash if it's something seirous. I would pass and spend your money on a good machine that's a few hundred bucks more!

That some pretty sound advice!! Broken sleds are a dime a dozen!! I'm sure you would rather spend your time ridin' rather than wrenchin'!!

I had a guy that works on sleds look it over. he told me i would find a better sled for that kind of money. He didn't seem to concerned about that anitfreeze. After checking that thing out he didn't think that it was goin in the engine. we tipped the sled over and saw there were some drops of anit freeze. the guy that owned it told me he's had it gone through and has been riding it like that for 2000 miles.
