another place ive been to--haliburton. that was a good ride. think we went from bracebridge. saw a car race on ice up that way when we were passing through. oh and a winter road safety course. looked pretty cool (couple of tricky turns and an S section in snow/ice)

Vaughan here. I have a cottage near Apsley (1 hr northwest of Petterbrough) and my uncle has a cottage near Haliburton. I like to go to barrie, and north, for riding though.

Live in Bowmanville (45 minutes east of Toronto) and cottage in Brechin on Lake Simcoe (20 minutes north of Beaverton or 20 minutes south of Orillia).
I sled in both areas.

B'ville, eh? Went through there several times when I raced Karts at Mosport (25-30 years ago). Favorite attraction was the Chip (french fries) stand/trailer on the street corner.....couldn't ever pass it up w/o stopping. Is it still there??
