Snowcat riding & information needed!

I am looking for any brochures, articles, photos or manuals from any model of the following brands:
Snow Trac (ST4, ST4B)
Kristi (KT2, KT3, KT4, KT7)
Thiokol (including DMC and LMC)

I am willing to pay for these things and will gladly accept scans or photocopies.

I'm working to build a larger free library database of information for these brands for my discussion forum and archive area. I currently have a reasonable collection of Snow Trac information and a modest amount of Kristi information. My forums library gives away Snow Trac and Kristi manuals to all members (membership is free) and we are looking to build the pool of information to share.

If you can help me please contact me via PM or email.

I am always looking for information on Snow Trac, Kristi, old Bombardier, Thiokol and older Tuckers.

Welcome to the forums. Just googled Thiokol, and it seems you already coverd what I found. Not much info out there. Did you check ebay?

Yup, I pretty much bid on/buy anything I can find on Ebay.

These are all orphaned brands but are a blast to play with. It is just hard to find too much information about them.

In the first post of this thread is a photo of my Snow Trac. I own the orange one. The snow-camo one is owned by a guy in England. Attached are 3 more photos of my orange Snow Trac.

Its a fun toy to have. Not fast, but it sure makes people look! Its powered by an industrial VW engine, 4 cylinder, boxer configuration. Seats 7 people but I have my interior configured for only 5 people to allow more interior cabin space. Mine is a 1972. About 2000 were made from the 1958 to 1981. There were a couple varients, some had a short cabin, some had no cabin top. There was also a wide track version.

NATO forces used them to patrol the Russian border during the cold war years because they handle deep powder with ease and they are very light so it was easy to attach them to helicopters and drop them high into the remote mountain areas for rescue and patrol work. I've got a friend who is an ex-British Commando who was attached to a group that actually used them for patrol work.
