Thumbs down Ice scratchers track damage

I just recently added Ice scratchers to my sled.Thought I installed as per spec, but they carved a cord our of the track. I have a 16 in wide track. I was wondering if I bought the wrong ones. should they point more forward . Any help on this one. I am going to remove them otherwise.

A pic of where you mounted them might help?
But in the front and pointing back is what I believe is correct?

Like KC said. Pics help.

It could be because of the track width. They make other types than the hard wire kind, there are cable scratchers and also scratchers that mount on the skis. I bet the last two won't touch the track at all...
