So I recently rebuilt my 97 Powder Extreme and I love it. However I was thinking of buying a tcat with some body damage and doing a engine swap. So I would have a 1000cc Powder Extreme (not many of those!)
I know I would need the jack shaft, carbs, engine mounts, and exhaust. But is there anything else that you guys see that would prevent it from happening?
So whats your plan?
I have the 95 ZRT, with the complete 98 ZR suspension front and back!
I have CRP heads and pipes, as well as a D&D can.
I bored the flat slide carbs out to 42mm and have a SLP air box.
Oh nice, well I think I probably will run it like it is this season but start looking for the parts I need then do the swap once I have everything. Do I need to change the CDI and coils as well? Biggest thing is finding an engine. Not sure if I want the 800 or the tcat
Any idea of how much weight I would take on? And is it worth it, other than you can say it's a tcat? Lol
