Difference between 2 cylinder and 3?

What is the Difference between 2 cylinder and 3?
3 cylinders, the middle can be overheated?
... but faster motor?
And the 2 cylinders a safer choice?

Tell me everything u know...

twins are way better on gas, and are faster on short runs. Triples will use alittle more gas, and will beat a twin of the same displacement in a long run.

i really don't know why people say twins run out of breath, maybe my sled is an exception. i can beat my friends 580 popo triple all the way to 100.(or as fast as that specific field allows )

That's because his triple is a 580....My 800 triple will smoke twins after the first 100 ft or so.

not to argue over something so small, but both our motors are the same displacement and the twin is faster.

mine does have the rave valves and i pull ahead at the begining of the race then i don't gain any so that might be the reason. i don't know how it will go now that i have a properly working secondary clutch though.

Good one , I can say to you guys. The gas in finland is 3 times more expensive that it is in the USA... Quite bad

The big differance between a triple and a dual cyl. is, a triple has one more cyl. than a dual.
