Uncomfortable riding...

Today we went riding, the handle bars must have loosened up or something because they began to move so we stopped and tightened them. Now I just don't feel comfortable on the sled, my arms and hands are getting tired just holding on and this has never happened before. It messed me up the whole night. When we were riding on the side of a hill i got pretty nervous because I was uncomfortable and it just felt like i wasn't in control of the sled and i was just along for the ride. What can I do to be comfortable on the sled again ? If i stand riding down the trails i have to hunch over some and that gets old real quick, if i sit down i get an ass beating and if i kneal it seems that the sled will flip. Also, the handle bars are not straight, they are at an almost 45* angle, is there any way to straighten it so i might be more comfortable standing ? Note the handle bar position.

hmm.. take your handle bar padding off, and loosen the bolts to your handle bars, and bring your handle bars back up to where they were and bolt it back on.

Not sure what else i can tell you.. It probably just adjustment problem.

I would use the guess and cheack method....pick a trip, get the right tools, and at every stop pick a different alighnment on which to try riding with. Then we you find a good one, mark the spot and have fun!!

happy riding

i agree with them^^^^^^^^. you might want to look at a riser if you like to ride standing up.

The thing is i don't know if i like to ride stand up, although I KNOW i can get down the trail faster standing but i am unable to do so with the handle bars that far down.

same thing happen to me on my 4 wheeler, and I felt the same way, you feel like you have no control. Like one of the other guy said, you have to loosen two bolts under the sterring handle bars, and from there you can by hand pull up on them to where you want them. Good luck, that should put the stering heandlebars more at a 180 degree angle
