Need Help!

I bought a red bar end today for my sled today. I just cut the side of my grip out and found out the wires for the heated handle bars run all the way to the end of the grip. How can I get the bar in without damaging the wires ? The grip will fit in im just worried about tightening it and pinching a wire that will cause a short. PLEASE help.

Are you talking about hooks for the end of the bars? You can notch id with a small saw or drill where the wire is! That should solve your problem?
