Polaris= pullyoura$$
I went out for a midnight run up to Mackinaw City lastnight. I Stopped, and had a burger, and pop at the Riverside Bar b4 taking off. These fellas stopped in , and were wondering how to get to Mackinaw City. I told them I was heading up after dinner, and they were more than welcome to join me. One was riding a yamaha, and the other was on an AC. We proceded to Mackinaw. We passed the groomer just north of Alanson. I thought hell yah. We still couldn't go real fast because it was snowing really really hard. We got up there, and they realized that they may not have enough gas to get back. Told them they could sifin some of mine if they had to. Well we made it as far as Pellston, and the AC run out. His buddy hooked up the tow strap, and started towin back. Then just north of Brutus that sled also run out. They all thought that I would just leave them to freeze. I told them I could tow one back, and the other guy can ride double. They said my sled couldn't do it. I told them to watch how powerful a Polaris is. Ended upo towin the Yamaha, and 2 riders for 10 miles through a few drifts with no problems .

Sounds like your sled is pretty powerful. I'm sure that I couldn't tow a damn thing.

I hate towing sleds. I have a dogsled-style trailer for the sled that we use to take out firewood and food and whatever else we're gonna use and I found that with it folded down we can put the track on it and it pulls sooooo much better. I won't pull another sled back unless it's on something.

Might want to change your belt after all that, and I don't mean the one on your pants....

Yah the belt did start to get alittle warm. I checked it the next day, and it still had plenty of grip on it.

Mouse, AKA, Mr. Nice Guy!!
You showed way too much patience with those dummies who demonstrated no concept as to their fuel situation.
You are a much more charitable person that I think I would have been in that scenario, that's why we love ya', mouse!!

yeah I dont like pulling crap because of how hard it is on the sled, I mean theres only so much you can pull when a machine relyes on snow being on the ground to operate. But sweet sounding story. I put some major stress on the yamaha belts pulling that damn ski doo out before SEG fixed er up.

nice, i pulled a 04 700 switch back with my 04 800 switch back, with a blown chain, and thus a frozen track with a person on it this past weekend, granted it was only for about 150 ft to the road, but dang, she bucked and asked for more

I had to tow a 440 bearcat back to my cabin after it broke down on the trail, towed it with our Jag 340....toughest pull ever, especially since we were going through a narrow trail that had lots of hills and turns. That bearcat mustve weighed at least 570lbs + about another 175 for the person sitting on it. Good times

I remeber the last trip we went on when my dad on his SKIDOO had to tow my ARCTIC CAT. IT would have never happened, but when my dad stopped at the gas station he filled his sled up but not mine, when i ran out he told me i thought i had enough.(gas gauge didnt work, fixed sense then) But he towed me no problems, fast. He could have towed easily two people in it.
i love skidoos...

Mouse If I remember right, weren't you in there situation a few weeks back, and some kind soul gave you a tow back to fill up. Feels alot better on the pulling end of the rope doesn't it.
