I wired mine into the handwarmer wire right off the handle bar, DO NOT do it there. haha, i turned on the sled and none of the electrics worked. I wired it in after the switch, so i could control it with the hand warmer control. but the wire going to the handwarmer was actually two wires. So the clamp on thing i used cut one of the... such was the reason for the electrical short... i'm not really sure where im supposed to wire it.. so ill be watching this post closely... headlight maybe???

I don't know about your sleds but mine had an accessory plug that is there for any electric expansion such as electric start. (I think) I just took a test like found which prong was my hot wire then found an end and crimped the wires on and plugged em in. Works great.

FireCats provide 2 different 2-way connectors just for this purpose.....makes it very easy to hook up.

The one most people use for heated visor is located in a bundle behind the servo-motor. It will be an unused 2-way with yellow/brown wires. There is also a pigtail near the headlight bundle inside the hood. You'll need to get a matching adaptor; since it's AC, it doesn't matter which wires go where. Hope this helps!
