Definitely not the expert but started a topic exactly like this in Artic cat discussion. Was told to leave it in place andjust run premix in the fuel. Let the injector run dry. There is a way to disconnect it but someone else who knows more than I should give you direction.

Plug the holes at the jug, and drain the tank. Done!

anyone have experience with the 89 wildcat.....

i want to unhook it the correct way...i am thinking of just leaving oil in the oil tank and have it feed to the oiler, but blocking off the outlet ports that usually feed oil to the engine, this way if the water pump uses oil, it will still get some....am i thinking this correctly...thanks.

i would rather buy a block off kit, but it appears this engine cannot us it.

from the decription of the block off plate.....

"Oil Injection Cover for Arctic Cat(Reference #AC-OICOVER)
A plate to cover the oil injection pump hole in the crankcase allowing you to remove oil injection system. Fits all 530 L/C and all 1986-90 except Wildcat & 440 LW (Prowler). "

NOt sure if the water pump uses it, though. Call the dealer to be sure. Ifit's not working on one cylinder, take the pump apart and remove whatever crud is blocking that side.
