Polaris oil in an arctic cat.

Hey guys, im sure this is probably a duh question, but i was running low on oil last weekend and all the gas station had was polaris pure synthetic oil. Is this any different from the apv synthetic oil arctic cat sells??

As long as it's Tc-W3 rated, it will be ok.

Just don't do it again, you will give it a complex and it won't want to run right.

LOL!!

he is right, all the oils for the snowmobile manufacturers are usually made by the same oil companies, just different labels, as long as the rating is the same, you are fine, and if its a two stroke oil, its the same. You can use synthetic in and old engine and mineral oil in a new one, just gums up the power valves faster but in a pinch, you will be ok, try not to use too much just in case there is a mixing issue, but i have mixed oils on purpose "just to see" and i think you are fine

The only reason the manufacturors tell you to run thier oil is to make more money off of you. I run wal-mart supertech oil, $6.38 a gallon
